ABN channel's head Radhakrishna seems to be seeing everything in terms of Andhra and the Telangana issues. He interviewed the famous Kuchipudi dancer Swati Somnath who gained popularity for mixing Kamasutra poses with Kuchipudi dance.
The first question he asked her was whether she is from the Andhra or the Telangana region. Clearly taken aback by this question, she revealed that though she was born in Jharkhand, she grew up in West Bengal and later moved to Hyderabad. But her parents originally hail from Srikakulam district.
At the stag end of the interview (Open Heart with RK) he asked her opinion on 'Jai Telangana' and 'Samaikyandhra' agitations. Actually this question should not have been asked to an artist like her. Initially she refused to answer the question. But later after much prodding she replied that she would like AP to remain united. He didn't leave her at that. He asked her whether she would participate in the 'United AP' agitation. Laughing off such a proposal she reminded that she is just an artist and she is not interested to become part of any agitation.
Radhakrishna hails from Nizamabad. It was his grandfather who migrated from Andhra region to the Nizamabad region.
