Four girls kidnapped in Hyderabad & released in Jangaon
In an incident today four girls were kidnapped from the Kavadiguda area of Hyderabad at 12' o clock this afternoon. The kidnapped girls include Mounika, Kalyani, Shambavi and Sravya. All the girls were school going children.
Even the parents were not aware that they have been kidnapped since the incident happened this afternoon and the parents thought that they must have gone to their friends house. When they didn't come even after 5:30 PM, the families got worried.
But incidentally the kidnappers released the girls in Jangaon (Warangal district) bus station. The police are puzzled on why the kidnappers released the children. One of the kidnapped girl i.e Mounika has got relatives in Jangaon and they immediately rushed to the girls.
The girls said that after getting kidnapped they were knocked down unconscious and regained consciousness much later. But there is still no clarity in their statements.
The police are trying to bring back the four girls to Hyderabad and investigations are going on. This incident should come as a wake up call to the police regarding the lawlessness in Andhra Pradesh. If the kidnappers were successful in kidnapping four girls in broad daylight then only god knows when the next kidnap can happen in Hyderabad. The Vaishnavi incident in Vijayawada and this incident today should make Sabitha Indra Reddy improve the law and order situation. If not then AP has the real danger of becoming another Bihar where tens of children are kidnapped almost everyday.
