The Telangana Congress leaders has come down heavily on the APCC Coordination committee and its Chairman Mr.Verappa Moily.
T-Congress leaders have met yesterday in CWC member, K.Kesavarao's house in Hyderabad to discuss about the Coordination committee and Terms of Reference in the Srikrishna committee.After the meet Mr.Damodar reddy (Suryryapet MLA) had questioned the appointment of Veerappa Moily (who is a outsider) as chairman of AP Coordination committee.He said that not even one M.P from the Telangana region was given a place in the Coordination committee where as three M.P's from the Seemandhra region were inducted.Mr.Damodhar reddy demanded that APCC president D.Srinivas be made the chairman of the Coordination committee and said that he will write to the high command on the same.Mr.Moily should treat Telangana and Seemandhra as two eyes and we strongly object Moily's appointment Damodar reddy remarked.
The meeting passed a resolution urging centre to expedite the announcement of Terms of Reference.''The panel should have fixed time frame and we want the committee to complete its task in six months time I.T minister K.Venakatareddy said.
Mr Damodar reddy has sharply criticized C.M Rosaiah for his partiality towards Seemandhra region.Mr.Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu has atleast spoken out that both Telangana and Seemandhra are his two eyes where as the acts/intentions of Rosaiah gives an impression that his both eyes are Seemandhra region.
The leaders concluded that they will not allow decisions that are detrimental to the interests of the region and put all our efforts to get justice for the Telangana which is suffering since 50 years.
