NTR's engagement with Lakshmi Pranathi has been postponed to April 1st. Earlier the event was slated to take place of March 18th. But since the bride turns major only on March 27th, the change in the engagement date was made. Also the astrologers informed that April 1st is more auspicious than March 18th.

The event would take place in the Novotel hotel in Hyderabad and only few guests would be invited according to the sources.

The marriage will take place in May this year.

Chandrababu Naidu is said to be the one who insisted on the proposal since the bride is his relative. He convinced Harikrishna and Balakrishna regarding the proposal. When they asked NTR, he is said to have agreed immediately.
