Andhra Pradesh & India stunned by Maoists' gameplan
Till now the police in Andhra Pradesh and in other states where there is a lot of Maoist influence, the new revelations are causing alarm. Till now the police used to concentrate on areas which are traditionally 'Naxal' infested.
But the police were not aware that they Maoists are hood-winking them. The Maoists' gameplan since many years, which came to light only today is that they have been using the 'non naxal' areas for carrying out their operations.
Tech Ramana alias Solipeta Kondal Reddy used to reside for many years in a village near Tanuku. This area and also the region is traditionally considered to be non naxal area.
It is this impression that he utilized to his own advantage. He resided in a house and used to manufacture hand made grenades. After recovering the diary from Kondal Reddy after he was killed, the police raided the house near Tanuku and recovered huge amount of ammunition. Even the neighbors never doubted his intentions.
The police say that with this discovery they would now conduct regular searches and combing against the naxalites even in the 'non-naxal' areas like the Godavari districts and have sent this information to other naxal affected states like West Bengal.
